Packages start at $1649, including final
copies, on Mini DV or DVD, ready to show and submit to film festivals
and TV stations. You can direct, or I can direct, or I can just help you
direct if you like. You will get a high quality, professional product that you
will be proud of. And we'll have lots of fun too!
I'll guide you
and help you. All you have to do is provide the script, the actors, the
location, and some helpers. It is EASY to get lots of enthusiastic help in
smaller towns, because everybody wants to be in a movie, or help make a movie!
And I mean FREE help!! (If you feed them and provide them with a
copy of the film, people will go out of their way to help with the work, donate
food, provide locations and props and much more.... all for just a copy of the
film with their name in the credits)
Here are
some things to consider:
When shooting a film in one or two
days, it is best to keep the film fairly short, without any complicated action
shots or the like. If a film is shot in a rush, it shows. If you have a
shot or two which you are not sure about, just tell me about it before I arrive.
I will probably have some alternate ideas which will be simpler and quicker, and
which will still retain the story line that you want. Shorter films
are more likely to be shown at film festivals too.
My service includes
initial emailing back and forth, exchanging ideas, polishing the script if
necessary, and arranging all details. This helps ensure that everything goes
smoothly for the shoot.
I can provide an experienced Production
Assistant, who will also fill in with lighting, sound and any other jobs that
need to be done. If you need help finding experienced and talented actors
for the leading role or roles, I can help with that too. I know many
actors, and have lots of experience at casting. Many of the actors I know
will be glad to work on your film for just travel and accomodation expenses.
To start locating help in your area, you could start with any drama
groups, acting students, high schools or colleges, or modeling schools
etc. With a few calls to such people, you will get contact numbers for
many others, including make up artists, extras, and all the behind the camera
crew and support. Once you start looking, you will find that lots of help
is available to you. For help and ideas regarding writing scripts and
directing, you can search the net for "How to make a short film" "How to make a
movie", "how to direct a movie", "how to shoot a movie"etc etc.
The $1649 package includes 3-4 hours of road travel each

day package can produce a film which can be about 5 to 20 minutes long,
depending on the complexity, and the skill and experience of everyone involved.
The $2189 package includes 3-4 hours of road
