The price includes me bringing everything to set, and taking it all away too. You don't have to run all over town picking up and returning gear to numerous suppliers. I have a Hi Def camera, tons of lights, audio gear, and a very fast editing suite. I also have lots of cool little shooting gizmos, to quickly get the shots you want. I work fast, while still producing high quality.

You can direct, or I can direct, or I can just help you direct if you like. You will get a high quality, professional product that you will be proud of.  And we'll have lots of fun too!

I'll guide you and help you. All you have to do is provide the script, the actors, the location, and some helpers. Just a few helpers please. It's much faster with a smaller crew. I know how to get things done quickly with a very small crew. You can get free help in exchange for credits and a DVD of the movie. And pizza. Don't forget the pizza.

NOTE: I get twice as much done in a day as most productions, with a crew about 1/5 as big. It doesn't have to be nearly as complicated as most people believe. If you are a first time filmmaker, you will learn a lot by working with me. If you have made several shorts, you may learn even more.

The above price is in effect for a limited time, and your short must fit certain parameters:

1. One location. The movie can include an establishing shot and about 6 to 8 setups in various rooms of a house or apartment.

2. It should be shorter than 10 minutes. It may be up to 15 minutes if your actors are very well rehearsed.

3. There should be no really complicated shots. If you have a shot or two you are not sure about, discuss it with me beforehand. I will probably have some ideas which will be simpler and quicker, while still retaining your storyline. Shorter films are more likely to be shown at festivals too. About 90% of the shorts that make money are under 7 minutes.

For each scene, you will get 1-2 master takes, and 1-2 medium takes of each actor, and at least 2 closes up takes of each actor. (Not counting bloopers) If there are 6 or less set ups, you can have lots more takes. If your actors are well rehearsed, this will easily give you lots of good footage for editing.

This is a special summer rate. My regular rate for 11 hours of shooting and 20 hours of editing would be $1550. If we go over time, extra hours will be at only $30 per hour, instead of my regular $70 per hour. With planning, you will not have to spend any more than $900. You can't beat that price with a stick!

If there are two locations, and they are close by, it might still be done for $900, or maybe just a bit more.
