Some art can inspire, and give hope to many people. It depends on the media used. My art film will inspire, entertain, give hope, and make a profit. It will help create empathy for battered women, prostitutes, addicts and alcoholics, and move some such to get help.
My movie is very low budget. I am seeking investments of 10K and up. The total budget is only 259K, and about 56K has been raised so far.

"Sam and Leah" is an enduring love story, which will be shown on TV for years and years.
SYNOPSIS. "Sam and Leah" is an intriguing love story between a younger woman and an older man, who are
both dealing with addictions to alcohol and drugs. Sam tries to help Leah quit prostitution and drugs, and after death threats from her boyfriend he comes up with a daring plan to rescue her, and to prevent a murder which is being planned. Leah starts to wean herself from her drug life, and starts noticing Sam in a different way, getting jealous when Sam develops a relationship with a woman his own age. There's laughter, tears, and excitement, as Sam gets involved with his new love, while still thinking of Leah. Based partly on a true story, their star crossed love has a surprise ending.
This meaningful movie will help create empathy and understanding for alcoholics, addicts, battered women and prostitutes, and inspire some such to get help. The Characters:
Leah, about 24, cocaine addict, alcoholic, prostitute. Slim and attractive.
Sam, 42-49, recovering alcoholic, former baseball pitcher, physically fit.
Pamela, 38-44, recovering alcoholic, she becomes Sam's girlfriend. They meet at AA.
Orlando, 30's, drug dealer, and Leah's abusive boyfriend.
Peter, 30's, Orlando's friend, he helps Orlando with drug deliveries sometimes. Minor role.
Mr. Robinson, 50's, apartment manager, he helps Leah. Smaller but very important role.
Tom, 25-30, minor role, he becomes Leah's boyfriend. They meet at AA.
