Viewership stats, January 4, 2011. The first videos were put online in 2007 and received about 2000 views. For the most part, there weren't very many views till about 2009. This is for all videos on Youtube, Break.com, Metacafe.com, Blip.tv and Sevenload.com OK, first, the grand total for all internet views for all the short movies I have made is about 238,000. The movies are also linked through Gawkk, Buzznet, Facebook, and other video sites as well. Roger Dodger, The Antiques Toadshow, Stunt Baby, Cow Talk, Cam Girl, Romeo and Juliet with Herpes, and My Two Lives have been broadcast twice on the Moviola network. The actual stats for this TV viewership is unknown, but a VERY conservative estimate of 100,000 views for them all is included in the total below. (It could be 500,000!) The total is at least 338,000 views. (as of October 10, 2011) Highlights: "Cam Girl" (2005) has been seen by over 150,000 people. "Cam Girl" is watched by about 320 people per day, and the rate is increasing. "My Two Lives" has been seen by about 10, 000 people since April 2009. "The Soulmate Scene", a practice scene from the upcoming feature film, "Sam and Leah" has been seen by about 10,000 people. It was put on youtube in October 07. The grand total includes some short movies, including the trailer and sample scenes for "Sam and Leah" and demo videos and samples of web videos and corporate promo videos. Except for Cam Girl, I have not actually tried very hard to get views. For cast and crew working with me it means yes, your work will be seen! You can send links to others, showing what you have done. The total number goes up by about 25,000 per month. |
